The trek back down to where you spent your childhood summers has been on the cards for a while now, but you've finally managed the trip out with your best friend. It's supposed to be a nice getaway from the daily stressors of the city life for some 20-somethings looking to have a little fun.
And it is fun, until your best friend starts seeing things.
Make the right calls, don't try to be a hero.
Allusions to death, fire, and suggested hallucination/vision imagery.
You play as Maya, alongside her best friend Faye.

There's something to be said about the figurative thought of memories burning away compared to the literal burning of memories here that can happen-
The fear of loss, not being understood, messing things up between friends, wanting to fix things-
Maya and Faye are so charming together (Phoenix Wright fan there?), while having that tension between them that felt so very relatable...
My silly musings aside, this was a fantastic read!

Also, fun fact, I see why you drew parallels with the Phoenix Wright character but that's completely coincidental- Maya is actually named after the 3D art software with the same name! >.<
This was a really fun and sweet game! The bad ending left feeling a bit sad though😔 I really like how the music fit each scene so well! And the art is so lovely, the background and sprites are so pretty!

The dialogue here is so charming, as is the art!!! I was invested almost immediately. The world was so immersive too, especially with the music!!! You guys all did a great job!! <3
i got the good end first then went back to get the bad ending afterwards because i was curious what would happen...! this was really cool.
